This is the view from our front door of Our front room and hallway that leads back to our bedroom on the left, the bathroom is on the right and the guest room is the farthest room at the end of the hallway.

This is the kitchen hutch we found at a garage sale for $20! We refinished it, painted, and gave it new hinges and knobs. It was a fun project at saved us over $150! (Notice the remodeled version in the next pictures=))
The view from the front room as you enter the front door. The back door faces a cemetery. Hmm.....

Another angle of our kitchen.

Our Yellow Bathroom! It is small, but nice and VERY yellow=)

At the Wisconsin State Fair!! This fair is unlike anything else. They had samples of flavored milk for a quarter a cup. They had deep-fried everything: oreos, snickers, twinkies, cheesecurds, and I'm sure lots more. They had livestock and the biggest horses we have ever seen. They were 9-10 feet tall. It was so cool. We bought this chocolate-covered banana and it was four dollars! We didn't know it until after we had it. It was a good, but expensive treat.
The Fair was definitely a fun experience. After walking around we went to the LoneStar concert. It was an amazing concert and they played all of our favorite songs. It was so hot and humid, like always in the summer, but it was worth the trip.

This is the Chicago Temple. It is really pretty but very unique. It was a fun experience to go together.
After the temple, we decided to head into downtown Chicago, but it was late so we couldn't see a lot of the sites. But we did try the famous Chicago stuffed pizza!! It was delicious, but soooo filling. We had a lot of leftovers!=)
Our first game at Brewers' Stadium! It was a fun night with some of our M-1 friends. But I'm pretty sure we were the ONLY ones without Milwaukee's favorite: Beer.

Being silly with our gametime licorice. It was so humid that night.
I was so excited to go to the Wheel of Fortune auditions when they came to town. But it was a little disappointing. The audition process was long and kinda boring and we didn't get picked. There were so many people there, but we had the experience and got a picture in front of the bus!

In the Windy City!!! We took a Saturday after a week of tests for Dave and hit the big city. It was so much fun. We walked the Magnificent Mile, watched some random acts by people on the street and ate some yummy caramel corn that is one of the city's must-eats. This is on the Navy Pier with a great view of the city.

There are so many malls and tons of shopping and Dave was in heaven when we found a Lego store. This became his new best 'block' friend.

This is overlooking the Chicago River. You can take ferry rides on a tour of the city. We didn't do it that day, but maybe someday...
We hosted the Pumpkin Carving Night and it was so much fun. We had a great time with some yummy treats and great friends. I was excited to have my pumpkin finished and Dave just wanted to drop things on my head.

Everyone (well most everyone) worked hard on their pumpkins to get them just right.

We had friends from around the block. It was such a fun night and the pumpkins turned out great.
Spooky Pumpkins! Ours are the front middle and back. I did a 'Boo' carving and Dave did his as Shaq. Oh my....
